Did Raya came early?

I went out of my house for some air a few moments ago (around 10pm). I felt a feeling that I only feel once or twice a year. And that feeling only come when it’s Raya Aidilfitri’s eve. I was so taken into that feeling that I froze for about 15 seconds and started to soak in the great feeling that the air brings tonight.
Then, I questioned myself, why did I felt that? Then, I looked around,searching for the answer. I saw the little kids in front of my house playing happily, I looked at the street light, and I saw a light smoke radiating from it. You see that kind of smoke when it’s approaching Raya (muslim,indian,and chinese celebration) from the kids playing fire crackers. Or maybe it’s because my landlord that just came back from their Umrah and gave my family a few dates and Air Zam-Zam,well, dates are widely associated with Ramadhan. Maybe these things that reminded me of that feeling that I only felt once or twice a year. That feeling made me felt problem-free, care-free and also make me feel happy.
I can’t wait for Hari Raya to come!! I want to feel that feeling again!!

Does my blog looks weird in IE??

My blog is ruined when you view to it through IE7. I haven’t tried using other version of IE but I think the problem that everyone has been addressing to me about the layout, is cause by the EVIL Internet Explorer. That’s just my first instinct. When I view my blog through firefox, it’s okay. No problems what so ever. My other theory is the problem is cause by my screen’s resolution, but I don’t think it’s a point because I didn’t design the layout my self.
Well guys, help me. Does my blog seems ‘not in place’, ‘wrecked’ and stupid to you?? If so, please state your browser in my comment section .I really need your response! Thanks a bunch!

I’m not Power Dropping anymore..

I’m going to stop my power dropping starting TODAY. Last night, i think that it’s unfair for people to just visit a site and just drop cards without reading the content of the site/blog. What’s the point of having a person just come to your blog and just drop a card? From now on, i’m going to visit a site and drop ONLY if like their content. Heh. That means maybe dropping under 50 cards per day but that’s okay, i don’t want to sell EC points, but i just want to attract traffic to my blog.
Okay, now that i’m officially not a power dropper anymore, i feel a bit more free :P. My final exam is OVER!! yeah.. freedom a.k.a merdeka time for me! Sleep, eat, lepak2 and going to malls are now my class schedule. Haha.
The other day, i went to Mid Valley to buy Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows book. (yeah i know, the book was released a long time ago, but just now i got the time to read it). But, to my disappointment, the book was sold out. Aiyoh, waste my time to go to Mid Valley and not buy anything. So, me and a bunch of my friends walked around just to window shopping. And then, i saw it, a RUBIK’s CUBE! haha. I always wanted to buy and play with one. So, i took the opportunity to buy it and now, i’m ADDICTED to it.
Eventhough i can’t solve it, i can solve one side and still, that’s a bit of a challenge. Been searching the net for how to solve it and it’s TOTALLY difficult. But, i will try to conquer that cube. Wish me luck!!

Stress And How To Fight It
Written by GnomeFan on May 5, 2008 – 6:04 am -I am amazed at how much traffic that were generated to my site because of the post prior to this and i think that the people are constantly on the look out for tips and tricks, therefore i think i will post tips and tricks that i know and found out in between my regular posts.
Okay, now that’s out of the way, let’s get into business. May maybe a month that is stressful for college and university students since it’s final examination month. Yikes. I’m currently facing my final exams too and i know what kind of pressure and stress that is burdening our mind.
The good thing about stress is that it keeps us motivated and we’ll be on our best game to conquer our objective,but, it also has it negative side. Long-term and prolonged stress will cause the cardiovascular and the immune system to undergo negative changes and wear out the body’s reserve. This negative stress could, over time, take a toll on your health.
Well, i searched on the internet on how to fight stress and here I done a quick summary for you guys so that you guys don’t have to read the whole thing, just the main points
HOW TO FIGHT STRESS
1. STOP. Stop and take two or three minutes to close your eyes, take several deep breaths, and allow the situation to melt from your mind. Allow yourself a chance to think, calmly and peacefully.
2. MOVE. You don’t even need to exercise to relive stress, even though exercising would help decreasing stress. Start moving, walk around, jogging or just a brisk walk somewhere peaceful. Walk along a road that has green sceneries, clean air or even just walk around a place that doesn’t have so much people. This will surely take your mind off of your problems.
3.SLEEP. 8 hours of sleep is the average amount of sleep time for people. A good night sleep is when the body can fully repair itself and prepare you for tomorrow’s challenges.
4. DIET. A balanced and healthy diet can help to decrease the amount of stress that you are facing. Eat foods that contain high vitamins so that your body can increase it’s power to fight bad energy a.k.a stress. Don’t eat a heavy meal too close to bedtime, as it may interfere with your sleep.
5. WHAT YOU LOVE??. Do things that you love/like most in life. Maybe you can put in 30 minutes a day to do things that you love most. Maybe reading,watching TV,surfing the net, ANYTHING that you love. This will release endorphins(the happy juice for your brain :P) and keep you happy and keep your mind of the stress-causing problem.
I hope that these tips that i given you helps. It worked for me!!
